About IoT Challenge

i3indya Technologies and IIT Bombay have collaborated to organize the 4th edition of the national IoT challenge. The event will be hosted at IIT Bombay’s annual tech fest—Aakaar 2020—on March 15, 2020. Students from more than 500 colleges across India, including IITs and NITs, would be participating in the event. The event will provide both students and professionals an excellent platform to showcase IoT talent. Winners will be awarded INR 1 lakh.

Noteworthy Points

  • You can register individually or as a group
  • You should form a team (of min. 4 students) before registration or on-the-day of event
  • In case you don’t have a team, we will arrange a team for you on-spot; however, you need to register beforehand
  • One team will be given one IoT kit during the workshop and prelims rounds for practice purpose ONLY; you should return the kit at the end of prelims round
  • Every team must carry 2 Laptops (Windows OS), Smartphone with 4G Internet, 2 Pen Drives and 1 Extension Board
  • Teams will be shortlisted for the next round
  • Only Online Registration is valid to participate in the event; NO on-spot registrations would be entertained
  • To register, you must have basic knowledge of Electronics and Programming, besides being enthusiastic about learning IoT
  • The jury members will be from IIT Bombay and  i3indya Technologies
  • Participants will receive Certificate of Participation from Aakaar IIT Bombay and i3indya Technologies

Event Flow Chart

  • A 2-day workshop (100% practical) on Internet of Things (IoT) for students
  • A 45-min competition after the workshop
  • Shortlisted teams must submit their abstracts for the final round
  • Teams whose abstracts are selected would participate in the Finale
  • The final round will be held on March 15, 2020 at Aakaar, IIT Mumbai
  • The winner will receive prizes worth INR 1 lakh
