Kevin Ashton is a British Technologist who co-founded the Auto-ID Centre at MIT and is known for creating the international standard system for RFID and other sensors. Ashton became a tech entrepreneur and started Thingmagic and cleantech companies EnerNOC and Zensi. He also launched the company Belkin Wemo- known for home automation systems.
